About ATXPark.com

Austin's independent parking guide — built because the official Park ATX app left a lot to be desired.

ℹ️ Important: ATXPark.com is an independent parking guide. We are not affiliated with the City of Austin, the Park ATX mobile app, or any official city services.

What ATXPark Is

ATXPark.com is an independent guide to parking in Austin, Texas. We cover every major neighborhood, entertainment district, and event with practical, honest information about where to park, what it costs, and what locals actually do.

We're not affiliated with the City of Austin. We don't process parking payments. We're not the Park ATX app. We're an independent resource that fills in the gaps that the official tools don't address — things like interactive zone maps, neighborhood-specific strategies, and event parking guides published weeks before the chaos starts.

Why We Built This

The Park ATX app consistently gets poor reviews. The most common complaints: people can't find their zone number, the zone map is confusing or non-existent, the app crashes, and there's no comprehensive guide to parking in different Austin neighborhoods.

Austin has real parking demand — from 6th Street nightlife to SXSW to F1 at COTA to UT football games. People visiting and living in Austin deserve a clear, accurate, regularly-updated guide to navigating that demand. That's what we're building.

How We Make Money

We're transparent about this. ATXPark.com is supported by:

Our editorial coverage is independent — we recommend what we think is genuinely useful, not what pays us the most. The free parking sections exist precisely because sometimes the best advice is "park here for free."

Accuracy and Updates

Austin parking rates and rules change. We update our guides regularly, but parking rates, hours, and policies can change without notice. Always verify current rates at the meter kiosk or parking facility before relying on any information on this site.

Every guide shows a "Last Updated" date. We treat outdated information as a bug and fix it.
